iNTERTEXT Gallery will be programming a series of exhibitions curated around 'next nature' in 2010-2011.
'With our attempts to cultivate nature, humankind causes the rising of a next nature, which is wild and unpredictable as ever'.
The exhibitions will expolre the duality between the nature we dream about but that might not exist anymore and the nature found in cities - how technology and cities, traditionally created to protect us from the forces of nature – somehow gives rise to a ‘next-nature’ that is just as wild, cruel and unpredictable as the nature of our dreams.
